The Credit Union's directors, management and staff respect the private nature of our members' nonpublic, private personal information. We recognize that when you supply us with this data, you expect us to respect your right to privacy regarding this information. To assure the continued privacy and confidentiality of your personal financial information, your credit union observes these practices and procedures.

Information We Collect

We collect nonpublic information about you from some or all of the following sources:

  • Information we receive from you on applications or other forms.
  • Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others.
  • Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency.
  • Information obtained when verifying information that you provided on an application or other forms.

Information We Disclose

We may disclose some or all of the nonpublic information we collect to affiliate or non-affiliates third parties that perform marketing or other services on our behalf. We only work with companies who agree to maintain strong confidentiality protections and limit the use of information we provide. We may also disclose information about you under other circumstances as permitted or required by law.

Our Security Measures

We restrict access to nonpublic information about you to those employees and business partners who need to know that information in order to provide services or products to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with Federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.

You The Member Can Safeguard Your Privacy

Mon Marine FCU is committed to protecting the privacy of its members. You can help us do this important job by following some simple guidelines:

  • Safeguard your account numbers, card numbers, personal identification numbers (PIN) and passwords. Don't write your PIN on your CU Check debit card.
  • Be careful who you give your account numbers and Social Security number to. Generally, the credit union doesn't ask you for this information except when verifying the person calling for account information.

 

This notification meets the notification requirements of the National Credit Union Administration regulation on privacy of consumer information, Part 716.
